T-Weaponz Surpasses 120,000 Digital Music Sales
Japan, Canada and Germany Follow the United States with Most Sales
New York, NY / December 8, 2009 – Billboard Top Ten and Indie group T-Weaponz has surpassed 120,000 digital download sales. According to the group’s digital aggregator INgrooves, Japan, Canada and Germany follow the United States with the most sales.
"We wanna thank all 120,000 supporters for helping us get this far! We expect even greater success in 2010. The fact that we've been able to sell this many units on our own is quite humbling and gratifying. Our sole focus is to keep giving our fans good music!," says Izreal of T-Weaponz.
Audiences have been impressed by T-Weaponz's intellectual lyrics, their ability to interweave street scenarios and anecdotes with historical and literary references. From Ark's precise flow to Izreal's blunt lyrics and Psalmz's flair for metaphors and wordplay, the MCs have formed a perfect triangle, complementing one another and ushering in a new sound. T-Weaponz appeared on the scene in 2003, with the release of the Alchemist-produced "Raised in the Slums" and the BlackOut EP, followed by the radio smash "Mira Mira" in 2005, the Billboard Top Ten R&B/Hip-Hop single "Dem Boyz" in 2006 and The Underground Music Award for Most Dynamic Group or Duo in 2007.
